The clouds roll in
Look to the sky
Splashing in the puddles
Our hearts are never dry

We are shaped by the world around
Take the shape of a tear
Rest in the ocean
The ever changing atmosphere

Coming from a distance
Haze is in our eyes
Clarity comes
On its own time

           
We are all creatures of rain, creatures of rain, creatures of rain
Fall on the ground, return to earth again
The clouds have opened up and it’s raining again

There are twists and turns
Rapids we must face
But quietness too
In a special place

We need them both
The rise and fall
The moon pulls the tide
The moon pulls us all
